About Me
I’m David Williams, a CFO and California-licensed CPA with more than 25 years of financial leadership experience across private-equity-backed, middle-market, growth-stage, and nonprofit organizations.
Much of my work has involved stepping into companies during periods of transition, growth, or financial complexity—stabilizing finance operations, improving financial reporting, managing cash and working capital, implementing ERP systems, supporting acquisitions and post-acquisition integration, and preparing organizations for their next stage of leadership.
Most recently, I’ve worked with three private-equity-backed companies, providing interim financial leadership through ERP implementation, financial reporting improvements, organizational transition, and other periods of significant change.
I’m based in Charlotte and available for interim CFO assignments where experienced, hands-on financial leadership is needed to stabilize the finance function, improve visibility, and support the business through transition.
